Eric’s journey in refining began after his graduation from the University of New Mexico as a Chemical Engineer. His career encompasses roles in C-Suite positions, operations, technology, competitiveness and benchmarking activities, and global consulting.
At the core of Eric’s professional approach is a commitment to excellence and transformation. He has been instrumental in revamping assets—from grassroots design to rescuing assets from default—which has showcased his ability to navigate and rectify complex and challenging circumstances. He brings exceptional organizational leadership and strategic planning capabilities that have been honed through responsibility for groups including as many as 2000 employees and 2500 contractors.
Eric has a proven aptitude for adept crisis management, a skill that speaks volumes about his ability to maintain composure and take decisive actions under pressure, exemplified in his success as an Incident Commander. This experience, coupled with his strategic acumen, makes him invaluable to Entara as the company launches new, or transitioning, refineries of independent developers and continues acquiring its own assets.
Before joining Entara, Eric made significant contributions at Crossbridge Energy as the Vice President of Strategy. His eight-year tenure at Solomon Associates is particularly noteworthy, where he served as Vice President of Refining. In this and other roles, he managed comprehensive refining studies and led benchmarking activities, offering strategic advice to refining corporations across the globe.
