Seasoned executive joins Entara as CFO, bringing over 30 years of expertise in energy and finance

Smith brings over 30 years of experience in energy and finance to Entara. He is cofounder and a partner at Pyxis Advisory Group, where he serves a global client base with M&A, finance and accounting restructuring, commodities trading, risk management, technology startup and digital transformation advice. Additionally, Smith is a partner at Stancil & Co., specializing in the energy industry and supporting everything from M&A and project management to tax appraisals and regulatory issues in petroleum, biofuels, petrochemicals and more.
Most recently, Smith served as the CFO of Island Energy Services, an integrated logistics provider that safely and reliably sources from local and global suppliers to meet the daily energy needs of the state of Hawaii. Prior to that, he was the CFO/controller of Monroe Energy LLC, a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines Inc.
